Buying
Buying at one of our auctions is simple. Either obtain a bidders number and attend a sale in person, leave a commission bid, or, in special circumstances you may bid by telephone at the time of the sale. In general, the commission fee on the hammer price is 18% (including VAT at 20%)

Selling
Selling at one of our sales is easy to do. We will accept large and small consignments of goods for sale; be that an entire house full or just a single special item. Our commission on any sale is dependent on the final hammer price.

Auctions
We hold a variety of regular weekly, monthly and quarterly auctions throughout the year which are held on Fridays and commence at 11am, this is with the exception of our quarterly wine auctions which are held on a Thursday evening at 6pm.

We provide auction appraisals and professional confidential valuation services, be it for insurance, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, family division or any other purpose, accompanied by fully itemised inventories at a competitive rate.
