A LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY PROFUSELY CARVED BURMESE DEMI-LUNE TABLE, with impressive pierced upstand, depicting opposing lions, the semi-circular top having carved band frieze. depicting dwellings and mountains and birds amongst the foliage, having fancy shaped and pierced apron, supported on four monopedic legs, with mask tops, over winged body, the scrolling feet terminating in further mask heads, each supported on a carved stretcher, uniting at the centre rear with carved pommel, 76cm high to table top, approx 112cm high overall, 140cm wide
