Bagwell Purefoy, circa 1914, the colony thrived under management until the thirties. This race is actually harder to obtain thandispar dispar - extract from British Butterfly Aberrations and Rarities, Worldwide Butterflies, Sherborne, Dorset, catalogue issued November 1993.
